Q: What should I expect during a reading?

During an Evidential Mediumship Reading, you can expect a compassionate, healing, and validating experience that connects you with loved ones who have crossed over. Here’s what typically happens during a session:

• A Warm Supportive Space: The session will begin with an introduction and a brief discussion to help you feel comfortable. Whether it’s in person, online, or over the phone, my goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment where you can be at ease.
• Spiritual Connection: As the medium, I will open myself to the spirit world and start receiving messages or impressions from loved ones who wish to connect with you. These messages often come in the form of names, dates, memories, or specific characteristics that are personal and unique to the spirit. This is what we call "evidence," as it serves to confirm the identity of the spirit.
• Clear, Validating Messages: Expect to receive messages that are meant to bring comfort, guidance, or clarity. These can include anything from emotional reassurances, life guidance, or validation that your loved ones are still present in your life. Some messages may be lighthearted, while others can be deeply emotional, but they are always shared with love.
• Emotional and Spiritual Healing: Many clients find the experience to be healing and comforting. Hearing from loved ones in spirit often brings a sense of closure, peace, and emotional release, especially when specific details are provided that only you would recognize.
• Unexpected Connections: While you may have certain loved ones in mind, sometimes spirits you didn’t expect may come through. These unexpected connections can often provide important insights or messages that you didn’t even realize you needed.
• Time for Reflection: At the end of the session, you will have time to ask any questions or seek clarity on the messages that came through. This is also a time for reflection, where you may begin to understand how these connections and messages fit into your life.
• Post-Session Feelings: After the reading, it’s normal to feel a range of emotions, from peace and comfort to surprise and even awe. Many clients find that the messages they receive continue to resonate and provide insights long after the session is over.

 

Q: How long are sessions?

A: Each session typically lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour. This time allows for a deep connection with the spirit world, providing enough space for meaningful messages to come through while ensuring you have time to reflect and ask questions.

 

Q: Can I request specific spirits?

A: While you are welcome to request connections with specific loved ones, it’s essential to remember that in mediumship, I act as a bridge between you and the spirit world, but I cannot guarantee which spirits will come through. The spirit world often brings forward the souls who are best able to provide you with messages, healing, or comfort at that moment.

Many times, the spirits you hope to hear from do come forward, but sometimes another spirit who has a meaningful message for you may step in first. Rest assured, any spirit who connects during your reading comes with love, guidance, and purpose for your highest good.

The best way to approach a reading is with an open mind and heart, allowing the process to unfold naturally. Whether it’s the specific spirit you’re hoping to connect with or someone else, the experience often brings deep comfort and clarity.

 

Q: How do I prepare for my reading?

A: The following steps can be beneficial to prepare yourself for a Mediumship Reading:

• Be clear about your intentions for the reading.
• Write down questions that you would like answered during the reading - keep these questions to yourself and allow your loved ones to come through with the answers for you.
• If you would like a specific person to come through, prior to the reading spend time thinking about them and let your loved one/s know that you would like to hear from them.
• Be sure that you are in a quiet place with little background noise.
• Be in an area that has a clear connection for Zoom calls.
• Surrender all expectations and be realistic about your expectations.
• Be open to receiving messages from your loved ones - this will help the energy flow more freely between all parties involved.

 

Q: Do I need to be available during the time of my booking?

A: Mediumship Readings are done over Zoom. You will need to be ready to receive the Zoom call at the selected time that was booked. Failure to be on time will result in a shorter reading being completed as the allocated time block cannot be extended. Failure to be show at the time of your Mediumship Reading will forfeit the reading. 

Tarot / Oracle Readings are written readings and will be emailed out within 7 business days of the selected time that was booked. All written readings will be sent out at the end of day (AEST).

 

Q: If I would like to book another appointment / follow up appointment, do I need to wait a certain amount of time?

A: If you would like to rebook another Mediumship Reading, please wait at least 6 months from your initial booking to reschedule again. This is to avoid details from previous readings influencing another reading. This time in between readings will also allows for life to happen and events from your messages to develop and change.

If you would like to rebook another Tarot / Oracle Reading, please wait at least 2 months from your initial booking to reschedule again UNLESS the next booking is about something different (different topic or question) to the first reading. Allow time for things to change and progress before asking a question about the same situation again. 

I love to do follow up / additional Mediumship and Tarot readings for clients however it is important to remember that we need to wait for growth and progress from the initial reading before doing another one.

 

Q: Are Mediumship Readings recorded?

A: Readings are not recorded and no information is retained of your readings. The contents of your readings will not be discussed with anyone other than you - if you have a reading with me, please bring a notebook to take notes during the session.

 

Q: Can I bring someone else with me during a Mediumship Reading?

A: No, I do not do group bookings. I am here to help you - not your friend/s, partner or members of your family. During your reading, whether it is a Mediumship Reading or Tarot / Oracle Reading, the focus is on you. I do not do 3rd party readings - if they want a reading, they can book with me. 

 

Q: Something has come up - can I cancel / refund my reading?

A: There are no refunds for any service. If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancelled appointments will be credited for a future appointment. If 24 hours is not provided to cancel an appointment, you fee will be forfeited. There will be no credit issued for same day cancellations or no shows.
